Joel Marcus Sampson is a politician in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. He currently serves as an elected member of the Executive Council and Deputy Presiding Officer of the Tobago House of Assembly.

Mr. Sampson attended Scarborough Secondary School. He pursued further studies at Signal Hill Comprehensive School before working at the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) of Trinidad and Tobago for approximately sixteen years. During is career at WASA he served in the position of President of the National Union of Government and Federated Workers (NUGFW) Tobago Branch from 2014 - 2021 and was the Vice President from 2011 -2013.

Mr. Sampson’s deep desire to contribute to youth and community development within his electoral district and the wider country led him to the political arena in 2021. Prior to this undertaking, he was an avid entrepreneur and skilled plumber. In addition to his career, he remains an avid footballer, who uses coaching as an opportunity to mold the minds of youth. Mr. Sampson has completed training in supervisory management, and is currently enrolled in further academic pursuits in project management.
